What is All-on-X?
All-on-X — also called a hybrid denture, full-arch implant bridge, or implant-supported fixed denture — is a complete teeth replacement system for patients missing an entire arch of teeth, or whose remaining teeth are failing and need to be removed.
The “X” refers to the number of implants used to support the restoration — typically 4 (All-on-4) or 6 (All-on-6). These implants are strategically placed in the jawbone and a full arch of custom-crafted teeth is permanently attached on top. All-on-4 vs. All-on-6 - What's the Difference?
All-on-4
All-on-4 uses 4 implants to support a full arch — two placed straight in the front of the jaw and two placed at an angle in the back. The angled placement is the key innovation: it allows the implants to engage more bone and avoid the sinus cavities, which means many patients who don’t have enough bone for traditional implants can still qualify for All-on-4 without bone grafting.

What is a Hybrid Denture?
A hybrid denture is another name for the final restoration attached to All-on-X implants. It’s called a “hybrid” because it combines elements of both a denture (a full arch of prosthetic teeth on an acrylic or zirconia base) and a fixed bridge (permanently anchored, non-removable). The result is something that looks and behaves far more like natural teeth than any traditional denture.
Hybrid dentures are crafted from one of two primary materials:
Acrylic (with titanium framework) — The more common choice, typically used for the provisional or transitional restoration and sometimes the final. Lightweight, easily repairable if chipped, and more affordable. The prosthetic teeth are set in an acrylic base reinforced with a titanium bar for strength.
Zirconia — The premium option for the final restoration. Who is a Candidate for All-on-X?

Consultation & 3D Imaging You meet with Dr. Aminpour and Dr. Barkhordar. We take a full CBCT 3D scan of your jaw to assess bone density, volume, sinus position, and nerve location. We evaluate your existing teeth if any remain, discuss whether extractions are needed, and design a complete treatment plan. Treatment Planning & Design Using your 3D imaging, Dr. Eshoiee plans the precise placement of each implant digitally before the surgery even begins. Dr. Barkhordar begins designing your final restoration — selecting tooth shape, size, and shade that suits your face and your preferences.
Surgery Day Dr. Aminpour performs any necessary extractions, places the implants, and — in most cases — attaches a provisional full arch of teeth the same day. You arrive with failing or missing teeth and leave with a complete smile. IV sedation is available so you can sleep through the entire procedure comfortably.
Healing & Osseointegration Over the next 3–6 months, the implants fuse with your jawbone. During this period you wear the provisional restoration — which is fully functional and looks great — while the implants integrate. You’ll have follow-up visits to monitor healing and make any adjustments needed.
Final Restoration Once osseointegration is confirmed, your final restoration is fabricated and attached. If you’ve chosen zirconia, this is when your permanent, precision-milled arch is placed. Dr. Barkhordar ensures the fit, bite, and aesthetics are exactly right before the case is closed.
Long-Term Maintenance All-on-X restorations require regular professional maintenance — typically every 3–6 months — to clean around the implants, check the integrity of the restoration, and monitor gum and bone health.
