Emergency Dentistry
Call when a dental problem cannot wait
A toothache, broken tooth, lost restoration, or swelling can disrupt your day and may need prompt attention. Silverlake Dental Group provides emergency dental care and welcomes new patients. Call the office to describe your symptoms so our team can advise you and check appointment availability.
An examination comes first
We assess the cause of the problem, review your medical history, and take imaging if needed. Treatment may involve repairing a tooth, managing an infection, root canal therapy, or an extraction. Our general dentist and specialists coordinate the care your condition requires. The goal is to address the cause rather than simply hide the symptoms.
While you are waiting
Keep a damaged tooth or restoration if you can and follow the team's advice. Do not put aspirin directly on a tooth or gum, and do not use household glue to reattach a restoration. Severe swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or uncontrolled bleeding requires emergency medical attention. Call our main number after hours for any recorded instructions; availability must be confirmed.
