A welcoming start to dental care

Silverlake Dental Group provides dental care for children as part of our family practice, including children as young as one year. Early visits help children become familiar with the dental office and give parents guidance about teeth, gums, and daily habits. Let us know if your child has particular worries or support needs.

What we look for

A child's visit may include an examination, cleaning, and recommendations based on age and cavity risk. We assess growth, the condition of baby and permanent teeth, and home-care routines. Sealants, fluoride or other preventive care, and imaging are discussed when appropriate rather than prescribed identically for every child.

Support between visits

We can help with questions about brushing, toothpaste, snacks, thumb sucking, and protecting teeth during sports. Children need help with cleaning until they can do it effectively themselves. If your child develops pain, swelling, or an injured tooth, call for guidance instead of waiting for a routine appointment. Together, we can make preventive care a familiar part of growing up.
