Silverlake Dental Group uses intraoral cameras, small pen-sized cameras with a light, to take close-up photos of your teeth and gums and show them on a chairside screen.

Why it helps

Images make it easy to spot cracks, worn fillings, decay and gum changes, and to show them to you clearly. Seeing your own teeth helps you understand your options and make confident decisions. Photos can also be saved to track changes over time.

What to expect

The camera is moved gently around your mouth and nothing is uncomfortable. Ask us to pause on any image; we are happy to explain what you are looking at.
