Where are you located and is there parking? We are located at 2390 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039 in Silver Lake. Conveniently accessible from Los Feliz, Echo Park, Atwater Village, Glassell Park, Highland Park, and Glendale. There is free parking in the lot directly behind the building — no meter, no time limit.

What are your hours? Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We are closed on weekends.

How do I schedule an appointment? Call us at (323) 922-6016, text us at (323) 283-9162, email us at josh@silverlakedentalgroup.com, or use the appointment request form on our website. For dental emergencies, always call — we prioritize same-day appointments for patients in pain.

Do you accept new patients? Yes, we are always welcoming new patients and their families.

What insurance do you accept? We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans.  Unfortunately, we are not a provider for HMO plans, medical, dentical, or medicare. If you’re unsure whether your plan is accepted, call our office and we’ll help you to verify before your appointment.

What if I don’t have dental insurance? We offer the SDG Dental Membership Plan — an in-house plan starting at $425 per year that includes two cleanings, a comprehensive exam, X-rays, and one emergency exam, plus 10% discounts on all other treatment. No waiting periods, no deductibles, no annual maximums.

Do you offer financing? Yes. We work with third-party financing to help patients manage the cost of larger treatment plans. Ask our team about current financing options when you call.

What should I bring to my first appointment? New patient forms are available on our website and completed in advance of your appointment.

How early should I arrive for my first appointment? We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early for your first visit to check in.

Do you see children? Yes — we provide dental care for the whole family including children. We have a kid-friendly environment with cartoons playing during appointments and a gentle, patient team experienced with young patients.

What sedation options do you offer? We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation, IV sedation, and general anesthesia.  Sedation is available for both routine and surgical procedures.

Do I need a referral to see your oral surgeon or endodontists? No. You can call our office directly to schedule with any of our doctors. No referral is required.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency after hours? Call our main number at (323) 922-6016. Our voicemail will have instructions for reaching us in urgent situations. For severe swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or uncontrolled bleeding, go to the nearest emergency room.

How do I prepare for a procedure with IV sedation? You must not eat or drink anything for at least six to eight hours before your procedure. You must arrange for a trusted adult to drive you to and from the office and stay with you for several hours afterward. Detailed pre-operative instructions will be provided at your consultation.

Do you offer teeth whitening? Yes — we offer professional in-office and take-home teeth whitening options. Ask about current whitening promotions when you call.

How often should I come in for cleanings? Most patients benefit from cleanings every six months. Patients with a history of gum disease or who are more cavity-prone may be recommended to come in every three to four months.
